Vincenzio J. (Jimmy) Butera, Sr., 63, of West Monroe, passed away on Sunday, June, 20, 2021 after a long illness with his family by his side.
Jimmy was born in Syracuse, NY on June 4, 1958 to the late August Butera and Carol Butera-Tedesto.
He was predeceased by his sister Rosemarie "Rose" and brother Charles "Chuck".
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Emmy; children, Jackie (Jamie) Frink, August "Gus" (Alicia) Butera, Frank (Crystal) Butera, Vincenzio Jr. "Buzzy" (Kelly) Butera, Jacob (Kim) Butera; brother, August "Duke"; sisters, Ramona "Mona", Carol, Roxanne, Robin; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and auto racing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Jimmy will be missed dearly by all.
Services are private.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
