Vincent J. "Jim" Mascato, 86, of Mattydale, was ushered into Heaven by his Heavenly Father on Monday, at home with family at his side. Jim was a WWII veteran serving in the Army. He was a sheetmetal worker with local 58 at House Sheetmetal Co. He is predeceased by his wife, of 63 years, Nancy A. Mascato, January 24, 2012.
Jim is survived by his son and daughter in law, Vincent and Heidi Mascato; his daughter, Paula Fox; his grandson, Robert Fox and his granddaughter, Danelle Fox; his sister, Mary Fragola; many nieces, nephews and many loving friends. He was predeceased by his mother, father, brothers and sisters.
Services will be Saturday, 9AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at the Onon. Co. Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
