Vincent J. "Vinny" Gallo, 53, died at home on December 29, 2015.
He lived most of his life in Central New York and attended Liverpool High School. Vincent worked in the restaurant business and as a self-employed contractor.
He was predeceased by his father, Frank J. Gallo, Sr. and recently by his mother, Gayle S. Rhoades, who took a part of him with her.
He leaves behind a son, Eric Vaverchak; his beloved Rottweiler, Bruno who always had his back and loved him unconditionally; sisters, Valerie and Roseanne Gallo; half brothers, Frank and W. Mike Gallo; half sister, Karen Eggleston; his step-father, Bob Rhoades, several aunts, uncles and cousins and the many, many wonderful friends he made into his family.
Vinny lived his life the hard way, yet still had a heart of gold.
Calling hours will be Sunday, January 3rd 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CNY SPCA or Partnership for Drug-Free Kids.
