Victor "Joe" Stottlar, 95, of Cazenovia, passed away February 11, 2021. Victor was born in Montrose, New York on August 20, 1925 to the late Victor and Hazel Stottlar. He was a WWII Army veteran with the 87th Infantry Division. He retired from General Electric after 37 years. Victor loved gardening, fishing, traveling, and going on walks.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Patricia Stottlar; two brothers, Ray Stottlar, and Bob Stottlar.
He is survived by four daughters, Vicki (David) Grimes, Catherine (Vern) Sundet, Linda (Steven) Garner, and Cheryl Cornell; two sons, Charles (Michele) Stottlar, and Steve (Elaine) Stottlar; grandchildren, Brian Morey, Todd (Esther) Morey, Jessica (Joel) Bellows, Adam, Trevor, and Kyle Stottlar, Kelly (Stephen) Hanssen, Christina (Ryan) Woodruff, Cassandra (John) Dearborn, Toni Stottlar, Skyler Grimes, and Cayley, Joshua, and Abbie Sundet; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois (Clay) McMahon, and Donna (Art) Christopher; and a brother, Paul (Judy) Stottlar.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26th 1pm-2pm with a service to follow at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Clear Path for Veterans, and Syracuse Honor Flight.
