Veronica Zinsmeyer, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday. She was a Counseling Secretary for the Veteran's Administration in Syracuse where she retired after 35 years. Veronica was a communicant of St. Charles Church and was an active member for the Syracuse Federal Credit Union.
Veronica is survived by her husband of 49 years, Clarence "Gene" Zinsmeyer; daughters, Lynda (Peter) Mino and Tami (Thomas) Gibbons; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Barbara (David) McLoughlin; 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Calling hours will be Monday 4-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 6PM. A private burial will be held at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204 in Veronica's honor.
