Veronica R. Rice, 82, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at home, on Friday. Veronica was predeceased by a daughter, Terri Lee Rice.
She was survived by her husband, Allen M. Rice Jr.; sons, Gary Rice of Phoenix, Douglas Rice of North Syracuse; a daughter, Kathy Rice of North Syracuse; sisters, Mary Rice of North Syracuse, Barbara MacEwen, Arlene Jenkins and Donna James all of Fulton; 4 grandsons, 5 granddaughters; and several great grand-children;and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow at the North Syracuse Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to both St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Hospice of CNY.
