Vernon Abbott, 86, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday at the VA Medical Center. He is an Army Airforce Veteran of WWII. He was a self employed Auto mechanic in Manlius, Georgetown and Sherburne. He was an avid bird watcher and an antique car enthusiast. He also restored many antique cars for himself and his customers. He was a great Dad.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Abbott; 2 Step-sons, Joseph Hill of Baldwinsville, David Hill of North Syracuse; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
There will be no Services or Calling Hours.
Contributions in lieu of flower donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Assoc.
