Vernice Rebecca Lasher, 89, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday. She was born April 13, 1920 in Gloversville, NY. Vernice is predeceased by her husband, Marvin Henry Lasher in 1992.
She is survived by her sons, David Byron Lasher (Larry Pennington) and Henry James Lasher (Michael Dillamar); daughter, Janice Irma (Russell) Harrold; brother, Arnold Goodbread; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
