Vera Mae Rowley

Vera Mae Rowley, 53, passed away January 15, 2025. Vera was born in Syracuse, NY on July 8, 1971 to Guy and Marcia Rowley.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcia (Diabo) Rowley.

She is survived by her partner, Michael Moody; three daughters, Jordyn A. Murray, Karyn C. Murray, Justine M. (Alexander) West; grandchildren, Mason, Ava and Sterling; father, Guy D. Rowley; sister, Diane L. Rowley; brother, David C. Rowley; as well as her Aunts, Uncles and her pets whom she loved dearly. 

Family and friends may attend calling hours Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY 13212 with a funeral service to follow. 

After the funeral please join the family and friends for Vera’s Celebration of Life at the Bridgeport VFW #8440 Auxiliary located at 516 State Route 31, Bridgeport, NY 13030.

Vera was a strong, passionate woman who loved her family, friends and of course, her animals. Encouraging her daughters to learn and grow, to love and laugh. Anyone who knew her knew she also enjoyed the sand, sun and boat rides. She was always out and about having fun! She encouraged everyone she knew to be themselves, loved her friends and was always there to make sure no one felt left out, creating more friendships along the way!
