Valora "Lorrie" J. Myers, 57, of Jamesville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday at home. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She graduated from St. Anthony of Padua High School and worked for CNA Insurance Co. for many years and most recently at Broadspire. She cherished the time spent with her family. Lorrie was predeceased by her parents, James and Agnes (Clark) Tuck and her sister, Valerie Tuck Fikes.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Malcolm B. Myers; a son, Corey (Gloria) Myers; 2 daughters, Courtney (Charles) Rhodes, and Carissa (Louie) Albahm; 1 step-daughter, Rhonda Myers; 6 beautiful grand-children (who were the center of her world); 3 sisters, Veronica (Martin) Dwyer, Vanessa (Steven) Giarrusso, Virginia (James) Giarrusso; 2 brothers, James Tuck Jr. and Jeffrey (Linda) Tuck; and several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as close family and friends.
She was a light in every life she touched and she will be dearly missed by all.
Services will be Monday, 7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling Hours will be Monday from 4-7PM, at the funeral home, before services.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn.
