Traci A. Lambrych, 53, of Brewerton, passed away on February 5, 2024 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Traci was a native of Syracuse, born on February 23, 1970 to Charles and Kathleen Eno. She was an endlessly bright presence, and inspired us all to meet life's challenges with compassion and grace.
Traci received her Master's degree in Education at Le Moyne College, and touched the lives of her many students through her work at Chittenango Middle School. Her free time was dedicated to building her classroom into a place of joy and respect for each and every student she taught.
In her free time, Traci enjoyed reading and creative writing. While she taught the literary greats, she loved books of all sorts, her shelves lined equally with beloved classics and modern mysteries alike. She nurtured this love of the written word in her children, and some of their earliest memories were of staying up late to have her read chapters of Harry Potter or Henry and Mudge.
She also had a deep love of the water, living on Oneida Lake while in Brewerton, and often collected seashells, sand dollars, and starfish when traveling throughout Maine. She and her family would often take road trips to visit local lighthouses, and to enjoy the wind and waves.
She is survived by David Lambrych, her husband of 27 years; three children, Matthew (daughter-in-law Megan) Lambrych, Grace Lambrych, and Jacob Lambrych; loving parents, Charles and Kathleen Eno; and brother, Jason (sister-in-law Donielle) Eno, alongside her niece, Sara.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm, on February 16th at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where a short service will follow, with Monsignor Elmer officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Onondaga Public Library.
