Tommy D. Wells, 78, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday morning with his family by his side in his home in Syracuse, NY. Tommy was born in Benton, AR to Jody and Birdie Wells. He married Barbara D. Eddy in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 7, 1956.

Tommy and Barbara moved to Magnolia, Arkansas in 1960, and lived there for 50 years where he was active in the community and the local church. He retired as a Lieutenant Officer from the Magnolia Police Department after 20 years of service, served on the Magnolia City Council for 22 years, and was a church elder and Sunday school teacher for 30 years. He also owned and operated Wells Electric Inc., until moving to Bossier City, LA in 2008, and then to Syracuse, NY in 2010 to be closer to family.

Tommy is survived by his wife Barbara Wells; sister JoAnn Haley of Memphis, TN; daughter and spouse, Kimberly and Luciano Miceli; granddaughter and spouse, Dana and Dmitriy Kaskov, and four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Sophia, Jonah and Evelyn all of Syracuse, NY.

His parents and two siblings, Edward Wells and Christine Kelly, and also his son, Kelly Wells, preceded Tommy in death.

Services to celebrate Tommy's home going will be held in Magnolia, Arkansas:

Visitation will be at Bailey Funeral Home on Wednesday, the 20th, from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Church on Thursday, the 21st, at 10:30am, officiated by Rev Brain Bohrer.

Graveside service immediately after at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery
