Tobie Wilbur

On February 13, 2024, Tobie Wilbur; 6 beloved son of Geoffrey & Michelle Wilbur went to be with the Lord. Tobie was born in Massena, NY on August 26, 2017. Tobie was predeceased by his identical twin brother, Jackson; maternal grandmother; Carol Wood; paternal great-grandmother; Joan Dumford, paternal great-great-grandmother Esteria LaPointe; and his infant Uncle, Brian Melody.

He is survived by his parents, Michelle & Geoffrey; four sisters, Marissa, Gretchen, Natalie, Corinne; brother, West; his grandfather, Andrew (Pops); his Meme, Lu Ann; his papa, Richard; his grandpa, Robert; his Nana, Marge; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

There are not enough words to express the pure joy that Tobie was. His big beautiful toothless smile, his infectious laugh, and his ability to immediately brighten any room he was brought into was a special thing to witness. Being in Tobie's presence was to know a small fraction of the beauty of Heaven. Even at his young age Tobie did more to change our world than most could even hope to accomplish in a lifetime. His love for people, music, playing rough and tough with his daddy or snuggled up with the many people he was so loved by were just a few of his favorite things. Although Tobie could not speak he had much to say, although Tobie didn't have use of his legs he ran the good race. He was the toughest boy, and his strength to smile each day despite the pain of the many obstacles he faced was such an inspiration. Although our hearts are broken and we will forever miss our precious Tobie Tobes, we rejoice in knowing that we will see him again. As we celebrate our son's life at his see you later service our family would ask that, if you so choose, please wear bright cheerful colors.
