Timothy John Carter, 68, of Tully, passed away December 17, 2017.
Timothy was born in Syracuse, NY on July 11, 1949 to the late John and Elizabeth Carter.
Timothy retired from Local Union 267 Pipefitter in 2017. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, playing guitar and being close to the earth. He always loved caring for animals. He also built his own log cabin with the support of his family and friends.
He is survived by his three daughters, Kristin "Nissa" Tedford, Linnea (Richard) Matulat, Kirsten Carter; seven grandchildren, Warren, Wesley, William, Vivianne, Anna, Eleanor, Clara; two sisters, Patricia (Dennis) Leogue, Deborah (William) Livadas; four brothers, Michael Carter, Thomas (Deborah) Carter, Stephen (Deborah) Carter, Mark (Kathleen) Carter; As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and his dog, Doc, cat, Puff, and several chickens.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A sharing of memories will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CNY ASPCA and the MS Association of America.
