Thurston R. "Sonny" Hubbard, 66, of Liverpool, passed away on Friday surrounded by his family, after a battle with cancer. He was born on July 22, 1947 son of the late Thurston and Elsie Hubbard. He retired from Oberdorfer Foundaries after 48 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and most of all he enjoyed his family. Sonny was predeceased by his sisters, Beverly and Nancy.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 45 years, Pat (Curcie), 3 daughters: Jessica Lanno, OH, Mellisa Hubbard (Jeff), FL, Michelle Hubbard (Rob), Syracuse, 3 granddaughters: Charli, Arianna & Sophia, 3 grandsons: Gavin, Matthew & Nicholas, his sister, Pat (Ed) Condon, CT, brother, David (Janet) Hubbard, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
