Thomas L. Wood , 67 of Hastings, NY, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Born on August 7, 1956 in Watertown, NY to the late Lawrence L. Wood and Evelyn (Haynes) Wood.
He was a hardworking family man and his former employers included General Electric, Carrier Corp. and CSX railroad. Tom Loved nature, gardening, long car rides listening to his favorite music, making family dinners and sharing fond memories of traveling out west with his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins.
He is survived by his life partner of 24 years (wife of 6 yrs) Doreen; children, Jody Wood, Tessa (Harry) Levy, Joshua (Amanda) Wood, Amanda (Richard) Holmes and Tiffany (Jason) Mossow; grandchildren, Savanna, Sierra, Chase, Josh Jr., Austin, Aiden, Morgan, Mackenzi and Christian; great-grandchild, Liliana.
Predeceased by his brother, Ronald Wood.
Calling hours will be held at the New Comer Cremation & Funerals on Saturday, February 24 from 1:30-4pm. Funeral services will follow at 4 pm.
