Thomas William Shepard

Thomas William Shepard, 75, of North Syracuse, passed away October 7, 2021. Tom was born in Syracuse, New York on June 23, 1946 to the late James and Dorothy Shepard. Tom worked as general manager of Sweetheart Market and retired after 46 years in the workforce. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, working outdoors, and spending time with his beloved family.

Tom is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cynthia Shepard; children, Julie, Brian (Manjot), Katie, Christine (Dan), Michelle (Ed); two brothers, Jim (Diane) and Robert (Judy); sister, Alyce (Paul); and ten grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, 10AM, at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale, NY. Interment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Joseph's House for Women.
