Thomas E. Reeder, Jr.

December 15, 1946 — April 21, 2020

Thomas Reeder, age 73, entered the Kingdom of God peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

The mark of a beautiful person is to show kindness and have courage through all adversity. Tom was indeed, a beautiful person and a gentleman.

Having schizophrenia for more than fifty years of his life, he showed immense courage, strength and forgiveness.

He loved his Lord. In 1972, Tom met the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.

Tom is survived by his sister, Mary Beth Daignault, brother-in-law, David Daignault, sister, Deborra A. LaFreniere (husband Mark and their son Nathan), many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Tom is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Helen Reeder and two sisters, Kathryn Walier and Ann Reeder.

Tommy was an excellent swimmer, he loved music especially the Strauss compositions. He had a flare for the culinary. He enjoyed making the menus for our get-togethers at home. Tommy was a kind and caring soul. He is at peace now in the presence of the Lord, freed from all sufferings, no more night, no more pain, he will live forever in the light of the Risen Lamb.

He will be deeply missed.

A private burial with family will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Baldwinsville, NY. A memorial service will be held in May as 'the situation' resolves.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's name to the Healing Rooms of Syracuse, Post Office Box 15031, Syracuse, NY 13215.
