Thomas L. Paventy

Thomas L Paventy. 73, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after a short illness. He was born and lived most of his life in Syracuse, before moving to Brewerton in 1990. He was the proprietor of the B&W Restaurant and was self employed as a general contractor. Tom loved baseball and the Yankees, as much as his barstool at Sam's Lakeside. Tom is predeceased by his brothers Joseph C, Robert and Jack Paventy, all of Syracuse.
Tom is survived by his wife of 28 yrs, Ann Paventy, his former wife, Janet Paventy of Liverpool, NY; 3 sons, Steven (Kim) Paventy of Sandy,OR; Brian (Tina) Paventy of Fort Meyers, FL; Christopher Paventy of Brewerton, NY; 1 daughter Melissa (Dane) Keller of Clay, NY; 1 brother, Joseph "Nick" (Eleanor) Paventy of N. Syracuse, NY; brother-in-laws, Kenneth (Carolle) Haverly of FL; Thomas (Linda) Heimbach of Central Square, NY; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Hammerle of FL; 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and a cat, BB.
Services will be held on Monday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be noon to 3pm, Sunday at the funeral home, 705 N Main St.
