Thomas O'Neill, 58, left us to be with his Lord & Savior, after a long struggle with a chronic illness. He was born to William and Patricia D. O'Neill in Afton, NY on June 5, 1951. He retired from Mele Manufacturing in Utica, NY as a plant manager after 20 years of service. Thomas was an avid golfer and member of Cannon Valley Golf Course, Civil War enthusiast and a proud American. He was predeceased by his father William E. O'Neill on Dec 25, 1980.

He is survived by the love of his life, Jacqueline of Central Square; his children, his source of pride, Deonna Wolf of E. Syracuse, Tammy (Abe) Alpuerto of Bridgeport, Thomas (Julie) of Louisville, KY, Salvatore "Sam" (Margaret)Formica of Syracuse; his eight grandchildren he adored; "All his favorites" Jacob & Emily Wolf, Abraham & Micah Alpuerto, Ian & Owen O'Neill, Charlotte & Lauren Formica; his dear and devoted mother, Patricia D. O'Neill; brothers, James (Keelin) O'Neill of Cleveland, OH, William (Leslie) O'Neill of Tampa, FL; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, his uncle and his beloved dog Licorice. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

Services will be held Sunday at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 12-3 PM with services to follow.
