Thomas N. DeLuca

Thomas N. DeLuca, 52, of North Syracuse, passed away Sunday. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Neil and Frances DeLuca and came to the Syracuse in 1970. Tommy was an independent cab driver for 30 years. He was an avid Yankees fan which he shares with his daughter, Constance and a Dallas Cowboys fan with his son, Thomas and daughter, Frances. He loved fishing which was a shared passion with family members. He had a special relationship with all of his grandchildren and spending time with them. He would go to any length to help his family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Neil DeLuca, mother, Frances (Kraft) DeLuca, a sister, Carla Steinlein and a nephew, Raymond Luckman.
He is survived by his children, Constance, Thomas, Frances, Dominic DeLuca and Colin Rourke; siblings, Mary (Jim) Luckman, Frances DeLuca and Neil DeLuca; grandchildren, Angelinna, Natalee, Giovanni and Angelo; godson, Orlando DeLuca; and many nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Elizabeth Harris.
Calling hours will be Friday from 9-11 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street North Syracuse. Services will follow at 11 AM, at the funeral home.
