Thomas P. Lowe, 68, of North Syracuse passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon.

Tom graduated from Corcoran High School in 1969. He went to work as a landscaper, later working for SUNY ESF where he gained carpentry knowledge. Then he became a carpenter for multiple local companies. For the last 17 years, he worked as a meat cutter for Wegmans in Fairmount. Tom enjoyed woodworking, fishing, listening to music, especially The Beach Boys, an avid Syracuse Basketball fan, and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara; his children, Melissa (Dale) Burkey, Brian (Nikki) Lowe, and Steven (Hannah) Lowe; his brother, Gerry (Maureen) Lowe; and five grandchildren, Brian Christian, Adrian, Mason, Aoife, Cormac; his special cousin, Nancy Berube; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 12:00 until 3:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. A funeral ceremony will immediately follow.
