Thomas G. DeSantis, 81of Syracuse, NY passed away at home with family at his side. Tom was an avid billiard player since he was a teenager. The high point of his billiard playing came in 1969 when he won the NYS Billiard Championship. This love of billiards led him to spend a life time of repairing and refurbishing billiard and pool tables. Tom was an investigator for the Onondaga District Attorney Office for eight years, leaving in 1994. After leaving the DA's office he devoted his time to his billiard and pool repair business and family until his passing.

Predeceasing him was his wife of 42 years Angie S. DeSantis , parents Joseph and Marianna (Ravas) DeSantis, sister, Gracie (Richard) Dwyer of Chicago, brother John DeSantis and his former wife, Jeanne (Wolf) DeSantis.

Surviving Tom are a sister, Marion (Skip) Reynolds of South Onondaga, NY; a brother Anthony (Polly) DeSantis of Cicero, NY; seven children by his first wife: Donna (Dave) DeSantis of Liverpool, NY; Thomas (Ellen) DeSantis of Phoenix, NY; Joseph (Lorry) DeSantis of Oswego; NY, Gary (Sandy) DeSantis of North Syracuse; Anthony (Shelia) DeSantis of Oswego, NY; James (Kelly) DeSantis of Lakeland, NY, and Guy (Cindy) DeSantis of Ira, NY; Two step daughters, Dianna Cua and Felice Clark; over 40 grand, great and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM and Thursday 10-11AM at New Comer Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday, 11AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum.
