Thomas F. Dwyer

Thomas F. "Tom" Dwyer, 77, of Mattydale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at his home surrounded by his family. Thomas was born on November 2, 1941 the son of the late Gerald and Frances Dwyer.

Tom served in the US Army until 1966. He retired as an LPN from Sunnyside Care Center. Tom enjoyed crocheting, searching for his relatives on Ancestry.com and he will always be remembered for his good sense of humor.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 50 years Norma; a son, Gerald (Stacey) Dwyer; a daughter, Megan (Joshua) Webb; grandchildren, Kaleb, Chase, Paige and Hunter; and a brother, James Dwyer.
He was predeceased by his brother, John Dwyer and his sister, Judy Cook.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice of CNY.
