Thomas Cooney, Sr., 69 passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
Mr Cooney was the son of the late Thomas Cooney and Thirza Cooney.
Thomas was the devoted husband of 47 years to Donna Cooney. He was a member of the Steam Fitters and Plumbers Local #267 , Liverpool Rod and Gun Club and Northern Pines Golf Course.
He is survived by his Son, Thomas Cooney, Jr., Daughter, Kimberly(Matthew) Glidden, Grandson, Nathan Glidden, Granddaughter, Morgan Glidden, Brother, David(Francine) Cooney, Sister, Carol(Wayne)Simmons.
Calling hours will be held at 4-7pm on Monday January 9, 2017, funeral services will follow at 7pm New Comer Funeral Home 705 N Main St N Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association
