Thomas H. Carney

Tom Carney, 71, of Bridgeport, passed away on October 6th at his son's home. Thomas was born in Syracuse on May 24, 1951 and served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was last employed as a truck driver for Walmart. Tom was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed vacationing in St. Martin in the Carribean with his wife Sherry. She passed away on May 17th , 2022. Tom was a peoples person. He really enjoyed being social with people and making them laugh. He had a great personality. He will be deeply missed by many.

He is survived by his son, Michael Carney, 2 sisters, Sharon (Doug) Villeneuve, & Linda (George) Love, and brother, Bob Carney.

Visitation will be held on Friday Oct. 14th from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
