Therese M. Morgan, 94, of Syracuse, passed away February 19, 2024. Therese was born in Syracuse, New York on December 4, 1929. Therese was raised by the Sisters of Charity at St. Vincent's Orphanage.
Therese worked at Will and Baumers Candle Factory, Addis's, GE, St. Joe's and later retired from Nationwide Insurance, as an auto coder, and then went on to work with the Syracuse Police as a crossing guard. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her animal companions, horseback riding, bowling, ice skating, tap dancing, and spending time with friends and family. In 1975, she was the first female to win on Bowling for Dollars. Therese was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Duane A. Morgan Sr.; Husband, Richard Perrigo; Son, Duane A. Morgan Jr.; Brothers, Jerry and George Holcomb, Brothers, Nicholas and Bernard Carlin; a Niece and a Nephew.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Mary Morgan, Melissa (Edward) Hughes; Son, Scott (Linda) Morgan; Grandchildren, Megan, Patrick, and Sheena Hughes (Clark Fields); Great-Grandson, Noah L. Fields; and a Niece.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm and Friday, March 1, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00pm. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Warners.
