Theresa Marie Tierney, 82, of Liverpool, passed away July 15, 2023. Theresa was born in Syracuse, New York on March 10, 1941 to Humbert and Dorothy DeMarko. Theresa retired from Oswego County BOCES, where she was employed as a teachers aid. She was an avid sewer and loved to camp up at the family camp in Cape Vincent. Theresa loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harold Tierney; grandson, Shawn Tierney Jr.; mother, Dorothy DeMarko; father, Humbert DeMarko; and brother, Anthony (Rose) DeMarko.
Theresa is survived by her son, Shawn (Tracy) Tierney; granddaughter, Marissa Tierney; great granddaughters, Elaina McDonald and Adalyn Denny, and great grandson, Rowin McDonald.
In keeping with Theresa's wishes, there will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Theresa's memory to Hospice of CNY.
