Theresa (More) Grosso, 96, died peacefully on Sunday at Loretto Nursing Home. Theresa was a life resident of Syracuse. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompey Church and a graduate of North High School.
Theresa retired from Prestolite Corp. after 25 years. She was a volunteer at the VA Hospital for 17 years where she loved taking care of "Her Boys". Theresa was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and the John Vendetti Italian American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. She took great pride in doing volunteer work for our veterans.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Louis Grosso, 3 sisters; Louise Ramaglia, Rose and Stella More, 2 brothers; Jacob & Cosmo More.
Surviving are her son, Rocco, 2 grandsons; Vincent, Clay & Phillip Grosso, Syracuse, along with 5 great grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be held on Monday 9am at St. John the Baptist, Court St.
