Theresa DiPino, 89, of Cicero, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning. She was born on February 8, 1924 in Canastota, daughter of Joseph and Philamena (Vito) Iacucci. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their summer home on Lake Ontario. She also had a passion for cooking and baking for family gatherings. She will always be remembered for her deep love & affection for children.
Surviving are her husband Frank, of 65 years, 3 daughters; Angela (Frank) Rice, Phyllis (Joe) DiSalvo, Francine (David) Zangari, son, Dr. Frank (Kathleen) DiPino, Jr., Shickshinny, PA, 9 grandchildren; James & Jesse Greer, Joe DiSalvo, Anthony, David & Alexandra Zangari, Joshua Rice, Andrea (Rice) Morapinilla, Angelina DiPino, 2 great grandchildren; Sienna & Zane Greer, baby Morapinilla, on the way. and sister Mary Nigro. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Loredo, Frank Iacucci and a sister, Josephine Barber.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero.
