Theresa Newvine Perry, 53, of Syracuse, passed away at home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born in Canton, NY in 1952 to Frank and Gertrude Newvine, both predeceased. She worked at K-Mart, Bristol Labs., Delaware School, Gene's Foods and a day care provider.
She is survived by her husband of 37 wonderful years, Eugene C. Perry Sr.; two sons, Eugene Jr. (Wendy) of Kirkville, Shaun M. (Heather) of Syracuse; one daughter, Melissa (Jose) Paulino of Syracuse; five grandchildren, Lady Bug, Peanut, Chub Muffin, Sweet Pea and Pumpkin, all of which she nick named; four sisters, Stella Epstien of Cortland, Joan Casario of Pulaski, Nancy Gilbo of Canton, Elizabeth Heffler of Penneville; one brother, James Newvine of Carthage; one aunt, Mrs Betty Flemming of Syracuse; many nieces and nephews; she also has a large loving family on her husbands side and many loving, helpful friends.
Services will be Monday, 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hastings Cemetery. Friends may visit with her family on Sunday from 1-4 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
