Thelma G. Pina

Thelma G. Pina, 96, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. She was born in Elmira, NY. She owned and operated the Flamingo Café in New Haven, CT and was a member of the VFW there. She is predeceased by two husbands, Henry W. Vaughn Sr. and Arthur W. Pina; and a son, Donald Cameron; siblings, Dorthea Palmer, Jay Donald Cameron Jr. and Clarice Rohadfox.
She is survived by her son, Henry W. (Mary) Vaughn Jr.; four grand-children; ten great grand-children; and six great great grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday, 12 noon at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Calling hour will be Thursday from 11-12noon at the funeral home, before services.
