Thelma Olive Demko, 96, of Syracuse, passed away April 10, 2020.
Thelma was born in Sydney, Australia on October 16, 1923. She was a war bride and married Erwin Demko in Australia on February 14, 1946. She came to the US in 1947.
She was predeceased by her husband, Erwin James Demko in 1993.
She is survived by her son, Patrick J. Demko (Jennifer Stanley) of Cape Cod, MA; daughters, Marian Demko-Heller of Baldwinsville, NY; and Kathleen Demko-Kulak of Syracuse, NY; her sister, Shirley Betts of Australia; her grandson, Michael Fiorentino (Amy Dugliss) of Syracuse, NY; and granddaughters, Maxine Demko of West Palm Beach, FL and Rebecca Cerullo of Boston, MA.
There will be a private graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
