Thelma A. Searles, 84, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully Sunday with her family by her side. Caring for her husband and family was her life's passion. She was a past president of the VFW Chapter 153 Auxiliary.
Thelma is survived by her husband of 66 years, Arthur; her son, Larry; two daughters, Becky (William) MacAnn and Laurie (Martin) Beckwith; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Meloling; her brother, Masel Foster; and several nieces and nephews;
Services will be held on Thursday 6 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Thursday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association
