An original Poem by Thatcher:
I Breathe
Now I breathe
the world pauses
everything glitters life
swirling, smashing wonder
all around me but stilled and frozen
another moment passed and forgotten
Now I breathe
fast forward with a vengeance
out of time, out of place
everything down the drain
colors vibrant pulsing end
grey creeping in with the cold
the end of my last gasp
Now I breathe
I breathe my last
