Terrence W. "Terry" Briggs, 54, of Phoenix, NY, suddenly and joyously went to be with Jesus on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a longtime member of the Society For Creative Anachronism, he enjoyed History and was an avid reader. Terry loved children and loved playing Santa for his wife's students at Christmas Time.
Surviving are his adoring wife Samantha, his siblings: Scott (Gerry), Greg (Jan), Gail, Todd (Kate), along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A memorial service will be held on Saturday 10am at Midler Avenue Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow at Plainville Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Humane Society or to the ASPCA
