Sylvia D Haas, 81, of Syracuse, passed away June 23, 2019.
Sylvia was born in Syracuse, New York on March 29, 1938 to the late Patrick and Ethel Weston Hollerand.
Sylvia worked for many years at James Square Nursing Home retiring in 2015. In her free time, she loved visiting the casinos, playing scrabble, and reading books.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Steven and Peter; brothers, John, James, and Timothy Hollerand; and a sister, Jean Donigan. She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia (Robert) Redhead, Diane (David) Furst, and Valerie (Matt) Kemp; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Per Sylvia's wishes services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
