Susanne M. Prue-Travers

Susanne M. Prue-Travers, 51, of Liverpool, passed away on April 19, 2025. Born on December 19, 1973, in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of Marjorie and Stanley Prue Sr. She was a beloved wife, dedicated mother, and cherished family member who will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, Steven Travers, and their four children, McKenna, Joseph, Caleb, and Keegan Travers. They were the proudest accomplishments of her life, and she devoted herself tirelessly to their upbringing. Family was of utmost importance to Sue, and she consistently demonstrated love and commitment to her husband and children.

In addition to her immediate family, Sue is survived by her three brothers, Stanley G. Prue, Jr., Scott Prue and Steven (Tracy) Prue. She is also mourned by her two sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Harris and Lisa (John) Travers, and her brother-in-law, Patrick Travers. Her family circle includes several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom will hold her memory close to their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Margaret Blakemen and Yvonne Prue; and her grandfather, Robert Blakeman, Sr.

Visitation will be held on May 2, 2025, from 4 - 7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM, where friends and family are invited to celebrate Sue's life. Memorial contributions may be made in Sue's memory to the Church of Christ, Wetzel Rd, Liverpool or St Jude Children's Hospital.

Sue will be deeply missed, not only by her immediate family but by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy will live on through her children and the many lives she touched throughout her time on this earth.
