Susan Patricia Woods

October 1, 1961 — August 13, 2020

Susan Patricia Woods, 58, formerly of Massena, NY and most recently of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11th surrounded by her family. Susan attended Mexico High School. She enjoyed making crafts and cooking. She made a career out of her love for cooking including working at P & C Stadium, the Sheraton Hotel in Syracuse and the Money Building in Syracuse. Susan lived for her grandchildren; she loved them dearly.

She was predeceased by her parents, John Woods and Shirley Foster and one sister, Dawn Woods.

Susan is survived by her significant other of 22 years, Jeffrey M. Thompson; children, John Eaton, Tabitha Powers, Zachary Powers, Mark Bort and Melissa Huber; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronnie, Kathy, Steve, Robin, Rick, Bill, Becky and Randy and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19th 4-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 5pm.
