Susan M. "Suzy" Brackett, 59, of N. Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wed.
Suzy was born in Utica on July 13, 1956 to Everett and Hazel (Eastman) Weaver. She graduated from Mt. Markham High School in 1974. She worked at "The Mill" in Oriskany Falls as a machine operator from 1981-2008. Suzy was a happy person who was always smiling and humming a tune. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, campfires, cooking, her camper, her dog and feeding the ducks.
Surviving are her children; Kevin (Amy Barany), Kristen Brackett (Orlando Apodaca), granddaughters; Annabelle and Bianca, siblings Dennis, Richard, Danny, John, Barbara, Carolyn, Jean & Joan.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Cindy and Margaret (Peggy).
Her Celebration of Life will be on Feb. 20th at Beaver Creek Golf Course, 7844 US Highway 20, Sangerfield, NY from 12-3pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Suzy's memory may be made to The Red Scarf Project.
