Susan L. Leonard, 69, of Clay passed away on Sunday at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. She was born on September 10 1945, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Goetz. Susan worked for many years in the travel industry and had the opportunity to travel and see many beautiful cities around the world. However, no destination brought her more joy than visiting Denver to see her grandson Gavin. When Susan wasn't traveling she enjoyed gardening, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles W. Leonard in 2007.

Surviving are her son Brandon (Mary) Leonard, grandson, Gavin, her siblings: Sandy (Michael) Corbin, Julie (Don) Kissinger, Larry (Michele) Coe, in-laws: Gary (Susan) Leonard, Joyce (David) Hutchings, many loving nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Special thanks to Lola Gualtieri and Mary Neri for helping her until her family could return home.

Calling hours on Friday October 10th from 10-Noon at New Comer N. Syracuse, with services to follow.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Francis House Syracuse.
