Susan L. Granzow

August 3, 1972 — October 29, 2022

Susan L. Granzow, 50, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Crouse Hospital. Born and raised in Syracuse NY, she had a long career in food service and healthcare.

Susan is survived by her father, Stephen (Deborah) Granzow; sons James III and Evan Dougherty; sister, Kristen Granzow, nephews Nicholas (Alex) Craner, Lucas Craner, Finn and Austin Granzow; longtime partner, Benjamin Judson; and her beloved cat, Mister.

Susan is predeceased by her mother, Linda Granzow (2009); sister, Lisa Craner (2011); and brother in law, Mark Craner (2011).

Susan was a beautiful soul who lived life on her own terms. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 4-6PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals with a service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a no kill animal shelter of your choice.

The family would like to thank the staff on the Neuro ICU at Crouse Hospital for their care and patience.
