Susan Dolson, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 29, 2020. She was born in Syracuse on September 26, 1952, daughter of the late Bernard T. and Josephine Wallon.
Susan graduated from North Syracuse High School and stayed at home while her children were young. Later she would go on to work as a medical secretary.
She enjoyed weekly family get togethers, playing cards, and an occasional trip to the casino.
Susan is survived by her sons Steven (Mandy) Dolson and Peter (Kasey) Dolson, her siblings Ronald (Pamela) Wallon, Terrance Wallon, Diane Walker, Bernard P. Wallon, Daniel (Shannon) Wallon, Anthony (Cathy) Wallon, Edward (Laura) Wallon, and Raymond (Helen) Wallon; sisters-in-law Patricia Wallon, and Jacqueline Wallon; grandchildren Andrew, Melanie, and Brooke Dolson; grandpuppies Meli and Mya; brother-in-law Michael (Jackie) Dolson; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Steven Dolson; parents, Bernard and Josephine Wallon; brothers, Thomas and Alan Wallon; sister-in-law, Pismai Wallon; brother-in-laws, Ralph Walker, Jerry Dolson, and David Dolson
A gathering for friends and family wishing to honor her life will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton located at 6301 NY-298, East Syracuse 13057 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020.
