Steven L. "Steve" Zinszer

Steven “Steve” Zinszer, 58, of North Syracuse, passed away on July 13, 2024 after a short illness. He was born in Syracuse, NY on June 15, 1966 to Bonnie and the late Tom Zinszer.

Steve graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School and furthered his education at Mohawk Valley Community College. He dedicated many years to his career as a butcher, where he was known for his meticulous work and warm and friendly demeanor.

Steve was an avid Giants and Yankees fan who also found joy in snowmobiling, cooking, family vacations in Wildwood, NJ and “getting the Led out”. Steve was known for his love of animals, his quirky sense of humor, and his kind and generous nature. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with family and friends; often sharing stories about his children and their accomplishments.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Josh (Lauren) and daughter, Jennifer; his mother, Bonnie; his brother, Glen; his niece and nephew; life-long friends, Jim and Ricky, as well as several other close friends.

Visitation will take place Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 6-8pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse.
