Steven T. Haney, 45, of Liverpool, died on Tuesday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital in Syracuse NY. Steve grew up in Liverpool and was the son of James Haney and the late Joan Scott Haney. Before his illness, he resided in Adams, NY and was employed with Stature Electric in Watertown. Known for his beautiful smile, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and beloved dog, Hershey.
He is survived by his father, Jim Haney and step-mom, Maureen of Stuart, FL; his brothers, Jim Haney and wife, Tina, and John Haney; his sister, Anne Timpano and husband, Mike; step brothers, Danny and Michael Wolnik; nephews, Jimmy Haney and Michael Timpano; and nieces, Brianna Haney and Abbey Timpano; as well as many friends.
Calling hours will be Sunday, November 24th from 2-5PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Funeral services will be Monday, November 25th, 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY.
Steven's family would like to thank all who loved and took care of him during his 15 years at Van Duyn.
