Steven B. Nelson

Steven B. Nelson, 57, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2022. Steve was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 24, 1965 to Thomas and Patricia Nelson. Steve was employed with Dependable Rubbish Removal as a truck driver. He was a loving husband that loved spending time with his grandchildren and his fur babies. In his free time, he enjoyed a good piece of fried chicken watching TV, specifically crime documentaries. Steve was very outgoing and could talk to anyone. He was always willing to lend a helpful hand.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Nelson; cousin, Damian Nelson, and son in law Mark Defio.

Steve is survived by his wife of 26 years, Teresa (Sahm) Nelson; two step-sons, Eric Sahm and Glen Collins II; two step-daughters, Rachel Defio and Candace William; inherited daughter, Sarah Dyer; grandchildren, Aryanna, Jayden, Kyra, Brianna, Bryan, Gianna, Jordyn, and Jayden, "JJ"; sister, Tracey (Donald) Nelson Williams; and mother in law, Kathleen LaVere.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 from 6-7PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals with a funeral service to follow. Memorial contributions may be made in Steve's memory to the CNY SPCA, 5878 E Molloy Rd, Syracuse, NY 13211.
