Steven Metz, 55, of East Syracuse, passed away October 9, 2021.
Steven was born in Syracuse, New York on April 24, 1966 to Linda Voigt.
Steven was a flooring subcontractor at Tile & Carpet Town for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his children and hunting with his friends. He and his sons shared a love for playing video games together. Steve had a love for muscle cars and enjoyed working on cars frequently.
He is predeceased by his adoptive Parents/Grandparents, Suzanne and Peter Metz; Half Brother, Todd Voigt and Uncle, Timothy Spriggs.
He is survived by his Sons, Collin Metz and Kyle Metz; Step-Son, Christopher Stultz; Mother of his Children, Jennifer (Stultz) Metz; Birth Mother, Linda (Richard) Voigt; Brother, Douglas (Janet) Spriggs and Michael (Diane) Spriggs; Grandchildren, Adelaide Metz, Merrick Metz and expected Granddaughter, Lorelei Metz; As well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 12-1 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A sharing of memories will follow. Burial to take place in Loomis Hill Cemetery.
