Steven E. Dreswick, 49, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse NY on February 5, 2018 after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.
Steve was born March 16, 1968 in Syracuse, NY and attended Fowler High School.
Steve was involved with Alcoholics Anonymous for over 25 years; attending meetings, get-togethers and retreats.
Many who came to know Steve through AA considered him a life- saving sponsor and dear friend. He enjoyed working on his 1969 GTO, traveling, and camping with his close friends, who were like family to him. Steve will always be remembered for his dry wit and sarcastic sense of humor.
Steven was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Olga Turkewicz Dreswick, and his brother, Michael Dreswick.
He is survived by his only son and best friend, Deven Dreswick of Baldwinsville; sisters, Sandy Dreswick and Julie Dreswick of Syracuse; nephews Justin Daeffler of Auburn; Joseph and Jesse Corless of Syracuse and nieces, Allysa Keenan of Syracuse and Michelle Dreswick of Richland.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16th 3-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street in North Syracuse. A 4pm remembrance will immediately follow at the funeral home.
