Steve L. Endresz Jr., 62, of Central Square, passed away April 4, 2025. Steve was born in Syracuse, New York on December 6, 1962.
He was a volunteer firefighter and chairman of the board of directors with Caughdenoy Fire Department for 38 years. Steve owned Caughdenoy Salvage for 15 years. He was actively involved in classic car shows and the classic car community. In his younger years he was the tow truck operator all the local dirt tracks. His greatest joys were watching his son, Tyler, play sports, getting his daughter Erin involved in the fire community, and teaching his youngest son Jackson to swim. Steve was the inspiration for the band "4th & Goal". He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Steve L. Endresz, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Michelle Endresz; daughter, Erin R. (Mason Poorman) Endresz; two sons, Tyler (Jessica Cook) Endresz, and Jackson Endresz.
Calling hours are Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse with a service to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department.
