Stephen Macaulay, 51, passed away peacefully at Francis House on November 3, 2021. He was well cared for by the Regional Oncology Center at Upstate, the staff at Upstate on 10E, Francis House, and Hospice of CNY. He was born on November 17, 1969 to Robert and Georgianna Mahoney. Stephen was an independent contractor, trusted by many clients to fulfill their needs. He loved his family and his beer. He was a loyal friend.
He is predeceased by his parents, Georgianna and Robert Mahoney, and his brother Kenneth Mahoney.
He is survived by his life partner, Tracy Abraham, sons Matthew, Tyler and Jacob Abraham and daughter Joleen Herman (Mike), and 4 adored grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the youngest of 7 siblings and is survived by brothers Michael Mahoney (Therese), Peter Mahoney (Lourie), Gregory Mahoney (Marsha), and sisters Patricia Mahoney Talbot and Debbie Petrowski.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Hall, 102 Nicholas Ave, Syracuse, NY 13206, Sunday November 14, 2021, from 1-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, NY, 13208.
